2026 Update: Meet the New Farmers!
We are Anna and Nathaniel,
East Blue Hill's new farmers!
After four decades of farming, Clayfield owners Phil Norris and Deborah Wiggs have handed off management to us for the year, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue their legacy and grow food for the Blue Hill community. We plan to grow a bit of everything this season, and we'd love to share it with you! Learn more about our 2026 CSA here.
Interested in apprenticing with us for the 2026 season? Reach out to us at farmclayfield@gmail.com for details.

Clayfield Farm is a 160 acre farm in the village of East Blue Hill on the coast of Maine. We have been selling vegetables and flowers since 1992. We started from scratch carving our farm from the forest. We cut down the trees, pulled the stumps, and started a journey that became our whole lives. We have found that clay soil is an excellent growing medium if you provide drainage, adjust the pH, and add lots of organic matter.

Clayfield Farm is now accepting applications for apprenticeships for the spring of 2026.
