What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a pre-paid, weekly subscription to fresh produce from your neighborhood farm. By paying upfront at the beginning of the season, you are supporting a small, local farm who is dedicated to your community.
Members will receive fresh, seasonal
produce, for 16 weeks, from June through
September. Our CSA is Free Choice, which allows members to choose which vegetables they would like each week.
How it works: During peak summer season, there may be 15-25 vegetable varieties available and members will have their pick of up to 10 items (for a Full Share) and 5 (for the Half Share)
Examples of "items" are: 1lb of carrots, 1 bunch of kale, 2 sweet peppers, etc.

What do Members Receive?
In exchange for your up-front support, Clayfield Farm will provide members with freshly picked, sustainably grown and nutrient dense produce, weekly from June through September. Options to purchase extra vegetables and flower bouquets will be available as well. Members will also be added to our email list and receive weekly farm happenings, information and other news.
What is Expected of Members?
Members are asked to make a financial commitment to the farm. Members will arrive at the pick-up location (Precipice Coffee, 56 Deane St., Ellsworth) each week sometime between 4-6pm. Shares must be picked up each week. Shares cannot be held unless the farm is given proper notice beforehand (phone call, text or email). We do our best to accommodate those who were unable to make it in time or at all for a pick-up.
I wish to become a member of the CSA at Clayfield Farm by sharing in the costs of the farm. I understand that the farm is committed to growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers using sustainable methods. I am aware of what is expected of me as a CSA Member. I am aware of all the risks involved in the success of the farm and I understand that there may be some crop failures due to pests, disease, or weather conditions. I am aware that depending on weather or natural disasters, the exact start and end date of the season may change. I may also receive more or less produce depending on these conditions.
